What is VoIP

VoIP is the abbreviation of Voice over IP and it simply means calling over a data network. Calling over a data network, or internet connection, has some great advantages. Flexibility and savings of 30 to 60% and more on operational telephone costs are generally seen as the most important benefits of using VoIP.

Benefits of switching to VoIP include
  • Easy and cheap to set up
  • Corporate functionality, but at small business costs
  • Pay only for the services you need
  • Retaining your phone number and new numbers possible
  • Scales with your business
  • Work from anywhere!

A good Internet connection

To switch to VoIP telephony, first
of all you will need a reliable and fast internet connection.
This can be a mobile connection such as LTE, or fixed technologies
such as ADSL, fiber, wireless WAN etc. To find out if your internet
connection is sufficient, please contact us.
We’re happy to discuss the possibilities.

VoIP hardware

To tap into the full potential of VoIP you will want to use special IP phones. They look similar to traditional business phones, but often have extra features. Important is that the phone supports the ‘SIP protocol’. You also get cordless IP phones and devices that enable you to connect your analog phone to our network.
